Fits well. Nice stretch to the pants. Jean material. I do not bleach because of the trim and possible shrinkage. Keep in mind that if you are short like me, these will be a little longer on your leg. Mine look like they fall a couple of inches below what the model shows, below the widest part of my calf. Like these better than the petite version though-- which do not fit me as well elsewhere. Love these for casual use.The bad news, after a few months of use the studs are falling off regularly in the wash (2-3 each time), even turning the pants inside out and washing on delicate with no bleach. Still, I like the pants a lot, but am not loving them anymore because of the studs. Bought a pair without and like those much better.Comfortable and fit well. As all NYDJ jeans, they are in vanity sizing. So although my "real" size is 8, I always wear a 6 in NYDJ.Some women might be confused when NYDJ tells us to order a size smaller than normal. That is because if you are buying other clothing that is "vanity sized", it won't be a size down. Very often, the more expensive the clothing - the smaller the size you can get into. It is part of psychological marketing techniques, since women are often concerned about their weight and size.That is what makes women's clothing sizing often unpredictable. Thus the reviews of clothing can vary with some saying the item was "to small' and for other "to large." NYDJ has been pretty consistent in sizing over the years.These jeans run large in the waist. I took them to the tailor after a return from vacation where I was constantly pulling them up. They fit nice everywhere else but the waist/hips run a bit large. The stretch is super comfortable and the black has not faded because I don't dry them in the dryer. My only complaint is that the cuff at the bottom does not stay in place well. A couple of added stitches with a needle and thread fixed this quickly. I would recommend these for any petite woman who feels she can't wear a capri! The hit length on the calf is perfect!I bought two pairs of these, one in a light turquois and another in white to add to my several other pairs--my main wardrobe in Florida, year-round. I especially like the detail at the bottom of the leg, which makes these just a little more dressy than any other options I've seen in similar styles. I bought a size 12 and they fit perfectly -- I'm 145 and 5'5" -- I never take the NJYD advice to order down a size and find these fit the same as my other size 12 pants. They wash/dry fine in the casual wear settings on the washer/dryer (no ironing).I am a curvy size 6 so I ordered the 4 like was stated. They are little to big in the waist and inner thigh. I washed them hoping they would shrink a little but did not so I can not return them. I have the NYDJ Karen capris which fit good but every jean is different I guess. The material is great a light weight jean and they are not so loose that I can not wear them they are just not going to help with any tucking of the thigh or tummy area. The leg length and waist height are perfect though.They're fashionable and comfortable. Like the little buttons on the bottom edge slit. NYDJ is a great brand, but you have to try on EVERY style to know what size to buy. They really differ. Sometimes I'm a 2, sometimes a 4. Many fabrics used are way too stretchy. I like a tailored fit that doesn't give while you're wearing it. I hate having to keep pulling up my jeans.Yes!! It fits. I am happy. NYDJ jeans are the best. Feel so good when a product fits. I feel so good it them. Thank you for a great product. Will definitely order a NYDJ product again. A bit expensive,. It is more than worth it. When a product fits. Will order again. Why reinvent the wheel?NYDJ are my fav jeans hands down! Got my first pair a fees back at a resale shop, and was sold on the fit for me! My recent purchase is my first time to pay full price, and NYDJ are up there in price!!...that would be my only complaint.Great fit but seems to hold the fluff
